Romania has received a new C-130H Hercules military aircraft from the USA, enhancing its air transport capabilities. This aircraft can carry nearly 20 tons of equipment or over 90 fully equipped soldiers. It is the eighth Hercules transferred to Romania as part of a long-standing military support program. The aircraft, which has been in service for 30 years with the US Air Force, is expected to remain operational for another two decades. It will soon be registered in Romania and will support various military missions and humanitarian efforts. Romania is also planning further military acquisitions from the US, totaling $16 billion.
