România a primit astăzi primii bani prin SAFE. Care sunt achizițiile militare deja contractate
Romania has received its first payment of 2.5 billion euros under the SAFE program, aimed at military and dual-use acquisitions. This amount represents 15% of the total allocation of 16.7 billion euros. The SAFE program is designed for individual or joint military equipment purchases by multiple states, with all projects to be completed by 2030. The funds are loans with a maximum interest rate of 3% and a grace period of 10 years, starting repayment in 2035. Romania's allocations include 2.8 billion euros for security institutions, 4.2 billion euros for highway construction, and 9.6 billion euros for military acquisitions. The Ministry of National Defense plans at least 21 projects, with 10 in collaboration with other European states.
