România a primit 2,5 miliarde de euro prin programul SAFE. Banii merg spre apărare și infrastructură strategic

Romania has received its first tranche of 2.5 billion euros from the European SAFE program, aimed at defense and strategic infrastructure investments. This amount represents 15% of the total allocation of 16.68 billion euros for the country. The funds will support production capabilities and orders from Romanian companies. Romania is set to receive additional tranches based on compliance with commitments made to European institutions. Approximately 4.2 billion euros are earmarked for national road infrastructure projects, while the remaining funds will cover defense and security investments. SAFE is a European financial mechanism with a total budget of 150 billion euros for rapid defense investments.
