România a obținut patru medalii la Olimpiada Balcanică de Informatică 2026

Romania achieved one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal at the 2026 Balkan Olympiad in Informatics held in Tirana. Ştefan-Cătălin Savu from Ploiești won the gold medal, while Matei Neacșu and Cezar-Luca Mironov, both from Bucharest, secured silver medals. Luca-Valentin Mureșan also from Bucharest earned a bronze medal. The event took place from September 14 to 20, with over 75 students from 18 countries participating. The Romanian team was led by professors Szabó Zoltan and Bogdan-Ioan Popa, with coordination from the Ministry of Education.
