Romania achieved three gold, two silver, and three bronze medals at the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IOAI) 2026 in Kazakhstan. The event took place from August 2 to 8, 2026, with participants from 108 countries. The Ministry of Education congratulated the students for their achievements, highlighting the medalists from various high schools. The Romanian delegation was supported by Bitdefender, which provided financial assistance and technical resources for preparation activities. The Ministry expressed gratitude to all involved in representing Romania at the competition.
