România a intrat din nou în Guinness Book. 20.000 de oameni, la o masă de 5 km. Care e miza reală? • Newsweek România
Romania set a new Guinness World Record with 20,000 people gathered at a 5 km long table in Bucharest. This event, titled "The Table that Unites," aimed to raise funds for the first modern pediatric psychiatry hospital in the country. The table stretched 5,055 meters along Bulevardul Unirii and was made from recycled materials. The initiative, organized by the Metropolis Foundation, seeks to build a new facility at the Obregia Psychiatric Hospital, estimated to cost over 16.5 million euros. The new clinic will provide modern amenities and is expected to assist over 5,700 children annually with severe mental health issues. The need for such facilities is growing, as the number of diagnosed children has increased significantly in recent years.
