Romania has exceeded its PNRR targets for green transport, reporting 5,278 electric vehicle charging points against a goal of 2,000. Additionally, over 1,100 non-polluting vehicles have been purchased for local public transport, surpassing the initial target of 1,135. The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, emphasized the importance of these achievements for electric mobility infrastructure. The verification of project documentation is ongoing, with final results pending. The deadline for implementing PNRR investments has been extended to August 30, 2026, as the ministry continues to oversee over 5,300 contracts related to green transport initiatives.
