Romania has officially submitted its final payment request from the PNRR, amounting to 6 billion euros, as announced by Minister Dragoș Pîslaru. The net amount requested is approximately 4.35 billion euros, including both non-repayable EU funds and loans. The request encompasses 104 targets and milestones related to various sectors such as transport, energy, health, and education. Key projects include water network expansions, construction of childcare facilities, and energy efficiency renovations. The submission marks the end of the payment request phase, with the European Commission set to evaluate the reforms and investments before any funds are disbursed.
