Româncă de 24 de ani, ucisă într-o „cameră a morții” inspirată din Dexter în Marea Britanie / Un student la criminalistică și-a recunoscut crima

A British student, Benjamin Day, pleaded guilty to the murder of Maria Saceanu, a Romanian woman, whom he lured to an Airbnb property. Day, 20, stabbed Saceanu 78 times, having meticulously prepared the crime scene inspired by the TV show "Dexter." He initially claimed he was filming a tribute to the show and acted in self-defense. Prosecutors argued that the murder was premeditated, and Day attempted to dismember the body before calling emergency services, falsely claiming he was attacked by a wild animal. He will be sentenced on December 4.
