Roman Abramovich, în centrul unui scandal financiar uriaș. Peste 1.000 de documente ar fi fost antedatate pentru a ascunde averea miliardarului
An international investigation reveals that associates of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich allegedly falsified over 1,000 financial documents to conceal assets and evade taxes. The findings stem from the Cyprus Confidential archive, which includes more than 500,000 documents from offshore companies. The operations reportedly took place between 1999 and 2013, involving retroactive modifications to contracts and accounting records. Key discoveries include the manipulation of the Kravin Investments company, which handled funds from Abramovich's oil ventures. The investigation also highlights luxury assets worth approximately $650 million that were allegedly hidden through backdated paperwork. Abramovich's lawyers deny any wrongdoing, asserting that he was not involved in the alleged document falsification.
