Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Phantom Hummingbird, a Private Commission model celebrating the beauty of nature and honoring a client's wife. This unique vehicle features intricate inlays made from abalone shell, known for its vibrant natural iridescence, combined with mother-of-pearl to mimic the plumage of a hummingbird. The design process took over nine months, requiring artisans to master the delicate materials. Each piece was meticulously crafted, ensuring seamless integration and durability. The interior palette complements the abalone inlays, with Ash Burr veneer and carefully selected leather upholstery. The exterior showcases a striking color scheme, further enhanced by a hand-painted hummingbird motif along the coachline. Phil Fabre from Rolls-Royce highlights the inspiration drawn from nature in this bespoke project.
