RoboCop is officially returning to screens with a new series from Amazon MGM Studios, inspired by the 1987 film. The show will consist of eight episodes and will be available exclusively on Prime Video. It follows a fallen police officer whose consciousness is implanted in a robotic body, creating an almost unbeatable agent to fight crime in a corporate-dominated future. The series aims to retain the original film's spirit, blending action with social satire. Peter Ocko will lead the project, with Ed Neumeier from the original film involved, and James Wan as an executive producer. No cast or premiere date has been announced yet.
