Robert Sighiartău: România, tot mai aproape de alegeri anticipate

PNL's Robert Sighiartău warns that Romania may face early elections if a new government is not formed quickly. During consultations at Cotroceni, PNL proposed two solutions: a political government led by Siegfried Mureșan or a technocratic cabinet with a clear mandate. Sighiartău emphasized the need for budget discipline, administrative reform, and the elimination of privileges as key objectives for the future government. He stated that without a swift political agreement, the prospect of early elections becomes increasingly likely. PNL, USR, and UDMR support Mureșan for prime minister, with USR remaining open to other nominations.
