The construction of the bridge on Plugarilor Street over the Ghimbășel stream is progressing rapidly, with 60% completion reported. Mayor George Scripcaru inspected the site, confirming the importance of the project for the Stupini neighborhood. The old bridge, nearly 50 years old, required complete reconstruction, including reconfiguration of the stream. Excavated soil is being used to elevate a section prone to flooding. The project also addresses drainage issues in Stupini, with plans to utilize ANIF channels for stormwater management. Ongoing works include installing beams, reinforcing structures, and cleaning the streambed. Traffic is closed during the four-month construction period.
