Bucharest's City Hall plans to implement a new vehicle towing regulation, doubling current fees and expanding enforcement to the central ring of the city. The new fees will be 1,000 lei for vehicles under 5 tons, covering towing, transport, and storage. This regulation aims to standardize practices across sectors, which currently have varying fees. The implementation may occur earlier than expected, potentially in spring 2027. Local authorities emphasize the importance of addressing illegally parked and abandoned vehicles to improve urban mobility.
