Rheinmetall nu a notificat preluarea Șantierului Naval Mangalia

Rheinmetall has not yet officially notified the Competition Council and the CEID regarding the acquisition of Mangalia Shipyard, despite winning the bid for 138 million euros. The transaction's completion relies on obtaining necessary approvals, which are expected soon. The shipyard was sold after previous unsuccessful attempts, and its sale is seen as crucial for reviving one of Romania's key industrial assets. The Romanian government welcomed the auction results, and the acquisition is linked to Rheinmetall's involvement in two naval projects for the Romanian Navy, funded by the SAFE program. However, the acquisition remains pending until all notifications and approvals are secured.
