Rezultate de excepție pentru elevii români la Olimpiada Internațională de Matematică: o medalie de aur, trei de argint şi două de bronz

Romanian students achieved six medals at the 2026 International Mathematical Olympiad in Shanghai, including one gold, three silver, and two bronze. The Ministry of Education announced the results, praising the team's performance. The team was led by Cătălin Gherghe from the University of Bucharest, with support from other coordinators. The event gathered 666 competitors from over 120 countries, showcasing Romania's strong presence in mathematics.
