A new 1,000 cubic meter water reservoir has been launched in Valea Lungă, Alba County, to enhance water storage capacity and mitigate supply restrictions during droughts. This investment aims to address the increased demand for water during hot periods, which has previously strained local supply systems. The new reservoir is significantly larger than the old one, providing a more reliable water supply. The project cost 1.278 million lei and included temporary water supply interruptions in nearby areas. The old reservoir will remain in the system for potential future use, while the new setup allows for more efficient water distribution.
