Around 10,000 reservists from Bucharest and Ilfov will be called to military units from October 5 to 12, 2026, for the mobilization exercise "MOBEX B-IF-26". This exercise aims to assess the preparedness of the population for defense and test mobilization procedures. Various institutions, including the Ministry of National Defense and the Romanian Intelligence Service, will participate. The exercise will not declare a state of mobilization but will evaluate how institutions and human resources would function in such a scenario. Reservists are legally obligated to participate, and those who fail to comply may face fines. The exercise includes training activities and evaluations for the reservists.
