Revolut has announced the launch of its euro-backed stablecoin, EURR, and the establishment of a new AI research division. The stablecoin is currently being rolled out to select customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal, with plans for a broader release in 2026. EURR aims to bridge fiat and cryptocurrency, providing an on-chain euro infrastructure. Additionally, Revolut Research will focus on advancing AI in financial services, collaborating with universities and tech institutes. The division aims to enhance machine learning architectures and improve risk assessment and fraud detection.
