Revolut primește licență bancară completă în Europa

British fintech Revolut has secured a full banking license for its subsidiary, Revolut Bank S.A., following a joint assessment by the ECB and ACPR. This license allows Revolut to expand its services in Western Europe, starting with France and later in Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. The company aims to invest over one billion euros in the region and plans to open a new headquarters in Paris by 2027. Despite previous regulatory interventions by the ECB to strengthen internal controls, Revolut continues to grow, boasting over 75 million global customers and a significant profit last year.
