Revolut has partnered with MetLife to offer a new Credit Protection Insurance product for its customers in Romania and other countries. This optional insurance covers unforeseen events like job loss or hospitalization, ensuring loan payments are made during such times. Customers can purchase the insurance through the Revolut app, either when taking out a new loan or for existing loans. Two coverage packages are available: a basic package covering death and temporary disability, and a complete package that includes job loss coverage. This partnership aims to enhance financial security for clients.
