Revolut has received conditional approval from the OCC for a national bank charter in the U.S., aiming to launch by 2027. The company is now working on remaining approvals with the FDIC and the Federal Reserve. This marks a significant step towards becoming a truly global bank, offering a wide range of banking products to U.S. customers, including loans and cryptocurrency access. Revolut is also expanding its presence in Latin America and has obtained banking licenses in several countries, aiming for 100 million customers by mid-2027.
