Revolut is gradually restoring services affected by a Google Cloud outage that disrupted operations for users in several countries. As of 17:00 GMT, only six out of 27 services were operational, with issues persisting for card payments and withdrawals. The outage was linked to a power supply incident in Google's London cloud region, impacting various financial companies. Despite the disruptions, Revolut assured users that their funds and data remained secure. In Romania, where the platform has over five million users, many reported difficulties accessing the app and completing transactions. Google is working to resolve the technical issues, but full service restoration has not yet been confirmed.
