Revoltă la Washington pe tema motorinei rusești: Congresul îl acuză pe Donald Trump că a încălcat legea

On Sunday, bipartisan lawmakers questioned the legality of the U.S.-Russia diesel agreement, claiming it violates American law. President Trump announced a deal to import large quantities of Russian diesel, lifting sanctions, which upset Ukrainian President Zelensky. Six senators argued that Trump's decision contradicts a 2022 law prohibiting energy imports from Russia due to its aggression in Ukraine. They emphasized that imports should cease until Russia stops its threats against NATO allies. In response, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated the government would use all legal powers available, asserting that reducing diesel prices serves the American public's interest.
