Rețele uriașe de escrocherii online, descoperite de Meta cu ajutorul poliției din Singapore

Meta has taken action against 3.7 million accounts and pages linked to online scams, aided by Singapore police. The collaboration has helped dismantle entire fraud ecosystems. Between January and June, over 113,000 entities related to fraud were removed from Facebook and Instagram. In June alone, more than 33,600 scam-related pages were targeted, particularly those selling travel. The majority of the 3.6 million actions in July involved inactive pages that scammers could exploit. Meta aims to continue this partnership model with law enforcement across the region, as scammers increasingly use AI to create fake profiles and malicious content.
