REMAX, the international real estate network, has been acquired by the American tech brokerage platform Real Brokerage for $880 million. This acquisition led to the formation of Real REMAX Group, combining REMAX's global franchise network with Real's technology-driven brokerage. Both brands will operate independently, maintaining REMAX's franchise model. The deal, finalized after negotiations that began in late 2025, aims to enhance REMAX agents' access to advanced technology and AI tools. REMAX Romania, the largest franchise network in the country, continues its operations without changes, reporting stable transaction volumes and a slight increase in commission values for the first half of 2026.
