Rețea de trafic de cocaină destructurată de DIICOT. Droguri de 220.000 de euro, din București la Constanța

DIICOT dismantled a drug trafficking network that imported cocaine from Western Europe to Romania, seizing over two kilograms valued at around €220,000. Five individuals aged 38 to 53 were arrested for organized crime and drug trafficking, with a 49-year-old suspect identified as the group's coordinator. The network operated from July to September 2026, utilizing connections in France for drug procurement. The cocaine was stored and sold in a controlled residential complex. Additional cocaine and evidence were found during searches. Prosecutors requested preventive detention for the arrested suspects.
