Restructurare uriașă la Porsche: 9.000 de angajați vor pleca din companie

Porsche plans to cut 9,000 jobs by 2035, approximately 20% of its workforce, due to declining sales and increased competition. The company has reached an agreement to eliminate 5,000 positions through natural departures and voluntary retirement programs, following an earlier reduction of 3,900 jobs. CEO Michael Leiters aims to reorganize the company after a significant drop in sales in China. The agreement also includes commitments to keep factories open for five more years and invest €2.1 billion in key facilities. Other German automakers are also reducing costs amid the shift to electric vehicles and competition from Chinese brands.
