Restricțiile de trafic pe Valea Oltului au fost prelungite până la 31 august

Traffic restrictions on DN 7 in the Olt Defileului area will continue throughout August due to ongoing slope protection works. The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges in Craiova emphasizes the need for these interventions to prevent rockfalls and enhance road safety. Safety nets and retention barriers are being installed along the road, particularly in unstable rocky areas. The restrictions will be in effect from August 1 to 31, 2026, affecting specific road sectors, while some areas will remain open. Heavy vehicles over 7.5 tons are prohibited, and lighter vehicles may face temporary restrictions. Traffic will be managed by personnel on-site, ensuring safety during the works.
