Work to secure the slopes continues on DN7 in Valea Oltului, with protective nets being installed in rockfall risk areas. The interventions are taking place at three work sites to minimize traffic disruption. According to DRDP Craiova, the organization of these works aims to enhance road safety and reduce the risk of debris falling onto the road. Currently, restrictions are in place for vehicles over 7.5 tons on the section between Râmnicu Vâlcea and Boița, effective Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 17:30. Drivers are advised to follow temporary road signs and exercise caution in work zones.
