Romanian travelers to Bulgaria are advised of temporary traffic restrictions due to high temperatures. Heavy vehicles over 12 tons are restricted on major roads, including the Trakia and Struma highways. These measures aim to enhance road safety and traffic flow during peak times. Restrictions will be in effect on Fridays and Sundays until the end of August, with exceptions for certain vehicles. Additionally, traffic may be further restricted for trucks over 20 tons during extreme heat in specific regions.
