The Alba County Pension House clarified that the health insurance contributions (CASS) deducted from pensions will not be automatically refunded. Current legal frameworks do not support such refunds, and no procedures exist for automatic reimbursement. Starting August 1, 2025, a 10% CASS will apply only to pension amounts exceeding 3,000 lei. The institution emphasized that beneficiaries should rely on official communications for accurate information regarding any future changes in legislation.
