Restaurarea integrală a Castelului Corvinilor va fi gata până la sfârşitul lunii august

The restoration of Corvin Castle in Hunedoara is set to be completed by August 31, 2026, funded by two non-reimbursable projects totaling €11.6 million. Mayor Dan Bobouțanu highlighted this as the first complete restoration since 1914, overcoming previous doubts about its feasibility. The first phase, costing €5 million, was funded by the Regional Operational Program, while the second phase, worth €6.6 million, is supported by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Key areas of the castle have been restored, including the access bridge and historical frescoes, enhancing its cultural significance.
