The restoration of Corvin Castle in Hunedoara has entered its final phase, with significant progress reported by the local government. Key areas, including the access bridge and the Buzdugan Tower, have been fully restored. Historical frescoes have been revived, and new visitor areas will soon be accessible. The project, valued at 6.6 million euros, is funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and follows a previous restoration phase. Completion is expected by August 31, 2026, marking the first comprehensive restoration since 1914. The mayor emphasized the project's importance for the city and its cultural heritage.
