Moldova has announced new privatization opportunities for selected state-owned assets in various sectors, including glass production and hospitality. The State Enterprise 'Glass Factory in Chisinau' is being offered through an investment competition, with a starting price of 773 million MDL and a requirement for the investor to invest over 20.5 million euros within three years. Other assets include 'Hotel Zarea' and 'Scientific Publishing House', with initial prices of 106 million MDL and 6.3 million MDL respectively. Bids for these assets can be submitted until August 19, 2026, with auctions scheduled for August 20, 2026. The aim is to enhance public property utilization and attract private investments.
