Republica Moldova reacționează față de intenția Rusiei de a deschide secții de vot în regiunea transnistreană: ”O sfidare” / Protest oficial
Igor Grosu, the President of the Moldovan Parliament, condemned Russia's plan to open 16 polling stations in Transnistria for State Duma elections, calling it a provocation. He stated that these actions were not coordinated with Moldovan authorities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador to deliver a protest note regarding this issue. Moldova recognizes the right of foreign citizens to vote but insists that such activities must respect its sovereignty. The elections for the Russian State Duma are scheduled for September 18-20.
