Republica Moldova îşi va modifica legislaţia pentru a produce drone militare, anunță preşedintele Parlamentului Igor Grosu - Economica.net

The pro-European government of Moldova plans to amend legislation to enable the production of military drones for national defense, not for export to Ukraine. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu emphasized the need for these drones for internal security and emergency situations. Current laws restrict such production, prompting the need for legislative changes. Grosu rejected any notion that these drones would be supplied to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia. The Moldovan administration aims for EU membership by 2030 and has condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which has led to increased drone incursions into Moldovan airspace. President Maia Sandu highlighted the importance of domestic defense production for future planning.
