Reintroducerea unor pesticide interzise, motiv de scandal în partidele din Franța
A proposed law to reintroduce two banned pesticides in France has sparked controversy among political parties and civil society. The French Parliament is set to vote on this issue, which has divided opinions. Acetamiprid and flupiradifurone are currently banned in France but allowed in the EU for specific sectors. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has convened a meeting with coalition representatives to discuss the matter. The Minister of Ecological Transition highlighted that the reintroduction remains a major point of contention, while the Minister of Agriculture emphasized the importance of the law for farmers' hopes. Lecornu has not suggested removing the derogation, preferring to let Parliament decide.
