Reguli noi pentru motocicliști: vor putea merge pe benzile de transport public și pe lângă coloanele oprite
New regulations for motorcyclists, moped riders, and cyclists were adopted by the Romanian Parliament, allowing them to maneuver between stopped vehicles at traffic lights. The law mandates local authorities to create designated parking spaces for these vehicles. Motorcyclists can now advance alongside stopped traffic at a maximum speed of 20 km/h, provided there is enough lateral space. Additionally, passing a vehicle in the same direction is no longer considered overtaking if the lane marking is not crossed. Safety markings will be established at traffic lights and railway crossings, and helmets must be properly secured and approved for the vehicle type. The government has 60 days to implement these regulations.
