Reguli noi în instanțe. Dosarele care depășesc limita judecătorilor vor intra pe lista de așteptare • Newsweek România

Romanian courts are implementing a new case distribution system that limits the number of cases judges can handle daily. Cases exceeding this limit will be placed on a waiting list. The system, effective from September 15, 2023, aims to prevent overload and is based on the actual capacity of each court. Initially, judges will handle double the reference capacity, with gradual adjustments over the next five years. Urgent cases will be prioritized and processed immediately, while non-urgent cases will be recorded and assigned later. This measure addresses the high volume of cases and the shortage of judges, which currently stands at around 810 nationwide.
