Regulă importantă pentru șoferi: când ai dreptul la o a doua testare cu etilotestul
Drivers in Romania can request a second breathalyzer test if the first shows up to 0.10 mg/l of alcohol. The second test must occur 15-20 minutes later, and if it shows 0 mg/l, the driver can leave without penalty. However, if the second test still indicates alcohol, a fine and a 90-day driving suspension may apply. For readings between 0.11 and 0.40 mg/l, drivers can request biological samples for further testing. Exceeding 0.80 g/l in blood is a criminal offense, punishable by imprisonment. Refusing testing also leads to legal consequences.
