However, if the second test still indicates alcohol, a fine and a 90-day driving suspension may apply. For readings between 0.11 and 0.40 mg/l, drivers can request biological samples for further testing. Exceeding 0.80 g/l in blood is a criminal offense, punishable by imprisonment. Refusing testing also leads to legal consequences.
