„Regula fermoarului” ar putea deveni obligatorie în Codul rutier. Ce amenzi riscă șoferii care nu o respectă

A proposed law to make the "zipper rule" mandatory in traffic has received a favorable report in the Chamber of Deputies. This initiative aims to amend the Road Code, requiring drivers to alternate entering the available lane when another lane is closed or blocked. The rule would apply in certain unsignalized intersections and is limited to roads with two lanes in each direction. The zipper rule allows vehicles from the main road to permit the orderly entry of vehicles from secondary roads to ease traffic flow. Non-compliance would result in fines ranging from 432.50 to 648.75 lei, as the rule is intended to improve traffic fluidity without posing significant safety risks. Similar regulations exist in several European countries.
