Regele Charles, tot mai activ și tot mai „scump”. Casa Regală britanică va avea aproape 100 de milioane de lire la dispoziție
The British Royal Family's core funding will reach £99.9 million by the 2027-2028 financial year, following a formula change approved by the House of Commons. This increase is attributed to King Charles III's heightened public engagements and state visits compared to the previous reign. The funding, derived from the Sovereign Grant linked to Crown Estate profits, will support official activities, staff, and travel expenses. While the base funding rises significantly from £51.8 million in 2024-2025, the total Sovereign Grant is expected to decrease as the Buckingham Palace renovation project concludes. The increase comes as King Charles continues his public duties despite health challenges.
