The government has decided to eliminate 20 positions at the Ministry of Environment as part of a reorganization plan. This will reduce the number of employees from 531 to 511. The cuts include positions from the offices of dignitaries, contractual roles, leadership functions, and public execution posts. Despite the layoffs, a new leadership position will be created. The aim of this restructuring is to enhance efficiency and align the organizational structure with the institution's responsibilities. Earlier this year, Diana Buzoianu announced plans to cut personnel costs by 10%.
