The reduction translates to a decrease of 701.07 lei per 1,000 liters, keeping the effective excise duty at 2,103.22 lei per 1,000 liters during this period. Recent analyses show significant increases in diesel prices, prompting the continuation of the excise reduction to limit cascading cost effects, particularly in transport and logistics.
