Recordul femeilor centenare dintr-un sat din Sardinia / Mers pe jos, hrană curată și independență, secretul longevității femeilor din Bolotana

Bolotana, a small village in Sardinia, is set to be recognized as a new "Blue Zone" for longevity due to its high number of centenarians. With six centenarian women among its 2,500 residents, the village boasts survival rates surpassed only by Hong Kong. Researchers attribute this phenomenon to a clean diet, daily physical activity, and maintained autonomy in old age. The study led by Giovanni Mario Pes revealed that Bolotana has an extreme longevity index significantly higher than the national average. The mayor emphasizes the importance of preserving this cultural heritage to attract tourists and counteract depopulation. The local diet, rich in whole grains and vegetables, along with an active lifestyle, contributes to the residents' longevity.
