RECORD Piața ascunsă în România a exporturilor paralele de mașini. „Comercianții cumpără aici, radiază și vând acolo!”

In Romania, a significant rise in parallel exports of cars has been observed, with a 58% increase in new vehicles registered for export in the first eight months of the year. Dealers purchase cars from distributors, register them in Romania, and then sell them as new vehicles in other European markets. This practice, while not illegal, creates a parallel market that bypasses official distribution channels. Dacia vehicles dominate this trend, with over 4,000 cars exported, accounting for nearly half of the unofficial sales. The Duster and Sandero models have seen substantial export numbers, reflecting a growing issue in the automotive market.
