On August 4, Romania experienced significant fuel price increases, with Lukoil's standard diesel reaching a record 10.98 lei per liter. Major distributors adjusted prices throughout the morning, with Petrom and OMV leading the increases. Diesel prices rose by 20-25 bani per liter, while gasoline saw an increase of 10-18 bani. Lukoil's adjustments included a rise in gasoline prices to 9.59 lei per liter, the highest in the market.
