In September, Brașov labor inspectors uncovered a record 19 individuals working without contracts, leading to significant fines for employers. A total of 129 inspections were conducted, resulting in 760,000 lei in penalties for various labor law violations. Nine employers were fined 660,000 lei for hiring without proper contracts, while additional fines were issued for failures in employee registration and safety compliance. The inspections aimed to reduce undeclared work in line with national strategies.
